Neisseria Gonorrhoeae/Chlamydia Trachomatis/U. Urealyticum Real Time PCR Kit

Neisseria Gonorrhoeae/Chlamydia Trachomatis/U. Urealyticum Real Time PCR Kit

IVDR

Introduction

The Neisseria Gonorrhoeae / Chlamydia Trachomatis / U. urealyticum Real-Time PCR Kit is an STD test kit for the simultaneous detection of three sexually transmitted infection pathogens: Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU). The UU/CT/NG assay detects pathogen nucleic acids by real-time PCR.

The kit supports male urethral swabs, female cervical swabs and urine specimens. Human β-globin is included as an internal quality control to monitor sample and process adequacy.

Features

  • UU/CT/NG combined testing: Detects N. gonorrhoeae, C. trachomatis and U. urealyticum in one real-time PCR workflow.
  • Relevant urogenital specimens: Supports male urethral swabs, female cervical swabs and urine.
  • Human β-globin internal control: Helps monitor sample and process quality.
  • Efficient multi-target workflow: Reports all three pathogens in 81 minutes on an instrument.
  • Broad instrument compatibility: Compatible with multiple mainstream real-time PCR instruments.

Applications

This STI test kit is designed for professional molecular testing of urogenital specimens. Applications include:

  • Combined STI laboratory testing: Simultaneous detection of NG, CT and UU when these pathogens are included in the diagnostic workup.
  • Urethritis and cervicitis evaluation support: Molecular testing of male urethral swabs or female cervical swabs together with clinical assessment.
  • Urine-based molecular testing: UU/CT/NG real-time PCR using urine specimens collected according to laboratory procedures.
