Introduction
The Human Papillomavirus Real Time PCR Kit is a qualitative HPV test kit for the detection of 18 high-risk HPV genotypes. It detects HPV 16 and HPV 18 together with 16 other common oncogenic types and is designed for primary cervical cancer screening in professional laboratories.
The assay reports HPV 16 and HPV 18 separately to support risk-based follow-up. It can be used with cervical exfoliated cells, cytology specimens collected in ThinPrep® or BD SurePath media, and cervical swabs.
